The PBR finals are coming to Vegas!

I have to admit it…I love Nascar and PBR. (That’s “Professional Bull Riding” for those of you unfamiliar, or for those of you who might think I’m talking about good old Pabst Blue Ribbon, which I also love). Yes, this California boy does love some himself some cowboy sports.

I think most of my amazement with the sport, and admiration for the riders, is that it is a pure battle of man and beast. It’s eight seconds in which the life of one man is in the hands of a half ton of beef and a clown, and damn is it exciting. Where else can you get this kind of excitement besides at the PBR Finals?

The 2007 Professional Bull Riders World Finals will be taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 26-28 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center and November 1-4 at the Thomas and Mack Center. I know it’s a little early to start planning for this, but it’s well worth your time. The popularity of this event makes tickets hard to get, so start planning early and do some research into your PBR Tickets right now.

A good friend of mine has been going to the PBR World Finals in Vegas for years. He goes with the whole family, and has a great time watching the bull riding and hanging out in Vegas. I have always wanted to go, but have never been able to. Hopefully one day I will join the fun and actually see this epic man-beast battle live instead of having to watch it on TV.
