Moving and storage…

Since the beginning of the month, we have been in the process of moving. As always, moving comes with the good and the…well, I won’t say bad…but the not so good. So let’s take a look at both.

First the not so good. The not so good includes that awkward in between period where you’re living out of boxes and aren’t quite settled in the new place. Also included is the back breaking process of lifting boxes and furniture into a truck, driving a big huge moving truck down the scary as hell SoCal freeways, then unpacking said items and returning said big bulky awkward truck. Bah. The nice part is that generally moving truck places will hook you up with free or discounted self storage, just in case you have too much stuff.

OK, now how about the good? The good includes the beauty of moving into a new place. It always feels like a fresh start. Plus my commute now is awesome…10 minutes as opposed to an hour plus. Excellent.
