How to be a decent person

It seems to me that lately a lot of people have had trouble being decent people, and treating their fellow citizens of the earth as equals. I don’t know if people are just dumb, or if they truly are selfish. Either way, a lot of people are having issues being polite.

Take for example my flight today from Las Vegas. Some idiot lady brought her idiot dog on the plane, and it barked the whole time. Why in the crap would you bring a dog to Vegas, and why, if you knew that it was a yappy dog, would you subject an entire airplane full of people to its yappiness? Sounds like pure selfishness to me.

And take another example from my flight today. People for some reason believe that they need to stand with their legs touching the baggage conveyor belt, and make it a pain in the ass for other people to see their baggage, let alone claim it. If everyone would just stand three to five feet away from the baggage carousel or conveyor belt (depending upon the airport), things would be much better for everyone. In this case, I think it’s just stupidity, but if people would just take a minute to think, I believe they would come to the same realization.
