Apparently 96 students and other involved parties have been arrested in a drug sting operation focused on San Diego State University. Apparently a majority of the students were fraternity guys (whaaat?). $60,000 in cash, one shotgun, and a few semiautomatic pistols were also confiscated along with the drugs that were found.
I just have to wonder – how does busting frat boy drug dealers make the world a better place? Sure it’s illegal and possibly immoral to sell drugs, but is busting frat boys a good use of our law enforcement resources?
It’s just one more nail in the coffin of the never-ending and pointless War on Drugs that the United States Government feels compelled to fight. If frat boy drug dealers are our worst threat, are illegal drugs really the threat to society that They want us to believe they are?
