Sometimes I’m glad I don’t have a lot of stuff…

…especially considering that George Bush can take it now, since I’m speaking out against the Iraq war. That’s right friends, as of yesterday George Bush can take your stuff if you are believed to have been “undermining efforts to promote economic reconstruction and political reform in Iraq or to provide humanitarian assistance to the Iraqi people.”

Friends, let me introduce you to “Executive Order: Blocking Property of Certain Persons Who Threaten Stabilization Efforts in Iraq.” No, you haven’t heard about it because the mainstream media won’t touch it with a ten meter cattleprod. But it’s for real. It’s on the White House website in semi-readable legal mumbo-jumbo, and it lets you know how it is.

George W. Bush is not fucking around. I have a strong feeling that this is just one more nail in the coffin of the 2008 elections, and the 2009 turnover of the White House. If Mr. Bush can put this sort of thing into effect this easily with no repurcussions or questioning by the American People, just imagine what else he can do. I feel pretty confident that unless something is done, that Mr. Bush will be president for a long time to come. Yeah, it’s scary as shit. So call your representatives and get them on this.
