Once again those in power in the United States have been caught off guard by Mother Nature, and the Bush Administration decides to blame the underlings. Any rational person, or group of people, would have learned from an embarrassing tragedy like Hurricane Katrina and initiated measures to avoid any future such fuck ups. Turns out the Bush Administration is too busy making their defense industry buddies rich in Iraq to worry about things at home.
I wish I could stop writing blog entries like this, but these guys keep fucking up and blaming the people who have been warning them about these things. So of course, when shit went down and Kansas got rocked by a tornado and was unable to properly respond because their National Guard troops and equipment are in Iraq, Tony “Snow Job” blames Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius (a Democrat of course) for not requesting the right equipment. I wish that I didn’t believe the audacity of the administration, but I do.
It just so happens that Governor Sebelius had indeed requested equipment, and had complained to President Bush directly regarding the squandering of National Guard resources for the Iraq Occupation (yeah, it’s an occupation, not a war). Did he care, or do anything about it? No. And when shit went down, who got blamed? Exactly.
But here we are, fellow citizens. Just chillin’ at the nine to five, getting primed by the mainstream media whores to pay four bucks a gallon for gas this summer. And do we give a shit or call this bastard on his lies? Anyone? Hello? Contact your Representatives and Senators and make it clear that you will not stand for this anymore. Stop the Iraq war, bring the women and men home alive, and start worrying about things at home rather than on the other side of the world.
