Natural shampoo for naturally healthy hair

As hair care technology moves forward, it seems that unfortunately chemicals largely drive the “progress.” If putting more chemicals on my hair and scalp somehow makes my hair healthier, then count me out.

Fortunately, Naked Naturals has a great line of natural shampoo and hair care products that contain no nasty chemicals, and are one hundred percent natural. The secret to naked naturals natural shampoo is that they use Keravis in all of their products. Keravis, a natural plant protein, makes your hair up to seven times stronger by penetrating and moisturizing the hair follicle and by forming a protective outer barrier on your hair.

Another great thing about Naked Naturals is that your hair won’t get tired of Naked Naturals like it will with most other shampoos and conditioner.

Naked Naturals sent me a trial package of their shampoo and conditioner a few weeks back, and I must admit that I really like it. Both packages have now been fully used, and I’m on the hunt to find full size bottles. Even though my hair is fairly short, I can tell the difference already. And the fact that Naked Naturals products are in fact all natural makes me feel a lot better about putting it on my head, and about it washing down the drain (because those chemicals in other hair care products can’t be good for the environment, right?).

I would highly recommend Naked Naturals to anyone. They make a great product that works and that you can feel good about using. Check them out today!

Barack Obama on Net Neutrality

If you’re any fan of the series of tubes known as the interwebs, you have no doubt heard about the ongoing battle about net neutrality. As a small-time blogger with some big opinions, an open Internet is essential to my operation.

In this excerpt from a November 2007 speech, Barack Obama discusses net neutrality in an intelligent and rational manner. I would also like to point out that you can tell that Obama understands the words that he is saying, and understands the issues he is talking about.

And isn’t that exactly what we need? A President who actually understands the Internet? Seriously, it’s 2008, and our President doesn’t understand what in the hell this series of tubes known as the Internet really is, although he does use “the Google” every now and then.

Anyway, check out the video, and think about whether Hillary or McCain would ever give a similar speech.

Shopping for a web host - get the FAQ’s!

If you have never had your own dedicated web host before, you are probably pretty intimidated by the terminology and details that define web hosting. I know I was insanely intimidated the first time I shopped for my own web hosting.

To take the pressure off, and make sense of the madness, check out WebHostingChoice.com. Their FAQ has a great amount of information, and will make picking the right web host for your needs amazingly simple.

So why does the White House even have a press secretary?

Dana Perino is arguably the biggest tool out of all the press secretaries that the Bush Administration has gone through. Instead of “Press Secretary,” they should change her title to “Information Gatekeeper.” She never offers any useful information, just parrots what the administration wants her to say.

Now I understand that it’s pretty much her job to do that. But when it’s so blatantly obvious that the press isn’t going to get any useful information from her, why do they even show up anymore?

Take, for example, Ms. Perino talking (or refusing to talk) about the state of the dollar. She doesn’t offer any ideas at all, just says she’ll get fired if she says too much. Nice.

I propose that the media stop attending these bullshit events at all. Not that it will do anyone any good, but attending the press events doesn’t do anyone any good either.

Would a Dymo LabelWriter make your life easier?

Would a Dymo LabelWriter make your life easier? It sure would make mine easier. Any small business owner would benefit nicely from a high quality USB label printer connected to your computer to print postage and labels.

The Dymo LabelWriter 400 Turbo is a great low-cost solution for your small business label and postage printing needs. Printing at one second per label, you can print plenty of labels and postage to keep your small business going strong.

If you want to get really crazy printing online stamps and labels, check out the Dymo LabelWriter Twin Turbo. The Twin Turbo connects to your computer via USB, and is essentially two label printers in one.

The Dymo LabelWriter Duo prints all kinds of different die-cut office labels, and also prints plastic, nylon and permanent polyester Dymo labels for your more heavy duty label needs. And it’s cool because it kind of reminds me of an observatory. Not that that fact really helps your business, but it’s cool nonetheless.

The LabelWriter SE300 is the most hard-core LabelWriter of all. This thing supports DOS, UNIX, and any other operating system that can output to an ASCII printer. It also has built-in support for bar codes including Codabar, Code 3 of 9, Code 129-Auto, EAN-8/13, Interleaved 2 of 5, POSTNET, UPC-A/E, ITF-14, which I’m sure makes abundant sense to someone out there.

So check out the Dymo LabelWriter family of label printers, and start printing labels and postage from the convenience of your desk today!

Karl Rove hassled at the University of Iowa

During his $40,000 appearance at the University of Iowa on March 9th, Karl Rove was repeatedly hassled and mocked (as he very well should be). Rove is arguably the main twisted mind behind just about everything that has gone wrong in the past seven-plus years, and deserves all the abuse the American People can dish out. Turns out the University of Iowa did a great job.

I just can’t believe what a smug son of a bitch Rove still is, even after everything that has happened. In his appearance yesterday, not only did he say that Joe Wilson lied about his findings in Africa, but he also stated (however jokingly): “I haven’t been indicted yet, but I fully expect to be by the end of the year.”

Truly amazing, the people we allow to run our country. Have a look at some video of the event here:

Experian declares war on LifeLock

If you are exposed to any kind of media during your life, you are probably familiar with LifeLock. Yes, that’s right, that’s the guy who tells you his Social Security number and basically dares you to steal his identity.

Well it turns out that Experian is pretty angry with lifelock right now. You see, the things that LifeLock does for you end up costing Experian money in the end, which really ticks them off.

If you ever thought that the credit bureaus were in business for your benefit, this absolutely proves that they aren’t. Credit bureaus sell your information to companies for marketing and other purposes. When LifeLock does what it does, Experian is no longer able to sell your information to those companies that send all of those unsolicited credit card offers, which means that they lose the revenue that they make by selling your personal information.

Unlike the credit bureaus, LifeLock’s business is protecting the consumer through placing fraud alerts for their members and doing other things to protect your identity that make it nearly impossible for the credit bureaus to profit off of you. It turns out that protecting the consumer costs the credit bureaus money, and man does that tick them off. If there ever was any illusion that they were in it to help you, I think that has been shattered quite nicely.

And the corruption continues…Spitzer implicated in prostitution bust

Today, New York Governor Eliot Spitzer announced that he has been implicated in a federal prostitution inquiry. His involvement was tracked through a wiretap, and it is alleged that he met with a high priced prostitute on the night of February 13th, 2008 in Washington.

Spitzer is certainly an interesting character, and I can’t say that I’m a fan for a variety of reasons. But I still have to wonder why a Democratic governor (who is also a superdelegate, I might add) would be targeted in such a sting. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what comes of this to really find out what’s going on behind the scenes.
