As reported by al Jazeera (yes, a legitimate news agency…arguably more legitimate than any here in the United States), Blackwater has plans to build a terroristmercenary contractor training camp in Portrero, California. Their plans have been a thorn in the side of many Portrero residents who moved there for peace and quiet in a rural community. And although there is a significant group of dissentors, we all know how that works out.
I have no doubt that Blackwater will have its way (seriously, they have their own fucking army, how could they not get their way?) and Portrero will soon be a Blackwater stronghold. Sounds scary as fuck to me. I sure as hell wouldn’t want them in my back yard (two hours from my back yard is even too close, thanks very much).
As stated in the article, “A top aide to Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki had earlier conceded it may prove difficult for the Iraqi government to follow through on threats to expel Blackwater and other Western security contractors.” Well yeah it fucking would! I would argue that it would be even more difficult to kick out the Blackwater folks than it would to kick out the United States military.
Seriously, Blackwater’s troops are heavily armed and completely immune to any rule of law anywhere worldwide. How in the fuck would be Iraqi government kick them out?
It’s ridiculous that our government is allowing their mercenaries to remain in Iraq, much less still paying these assholes. It really is no accident that Mr. Prince, the guy who runs Blackwater, is a Bush family friend and Christian extremist. His company will get away with anything, no matter what.
We need to express our outrage at the resuming of Blackwater activity in Iraq without a proper investigation into what they are doing. At the least, oeprations should be suspended until a conclusion can be reached. Call your representatives and let them know how pissed you are that your tax dollars are going to pay these assholes.

I have talked about it before openly, and I am happy to report that my experiences with this kind of company have been quite positive. Blogging for cash in between my normal posts keeps my writing skills up, and helps offset my hosting fees. If you’re not blogging for cash yet, check out Bloggerwave and get started!
On September 17, 2007, California Lieutenant Governor John Garamendi sent a letter to Chancellor Charles Reed (also an asshole, like the Board of Trustees) stating his adamant opposition to the excessive executive salary increases.
In addition, another letter was sent to Chancellor Reed regarding the simultaneous scheduling of the UC Board of Regents meeting and the CSU Board of Trustees meeting. Does’t this simultaneous scheduling reak of something shady going on?
I can only hope that this dissention from above will lead to some sort of shake-up. I’m not sure exactly who is allowed to fire the Chancellor, but I hope that someone can find a way. This guy has lead the CSU system on a downhill slide for the past ten years, and he absolutely needs to go.
I just can’t figure out where they think this is right. Most of the Board of Assholes have absolutely no experience on the ground in the CSU system, and obviously have no idea the amount of work that normal staff members put into the operation of the CSU system. Those few who have experience in the CSU system must be either trying to help out their already rich friends George W. Bush style, or are just kissing up to their bosses. I can only assume that those few who come from within the CSU system are padding their own wallets too with this increase.
The worst part is that, once again, the students get fucked and the executive staff get their pockets stuffed full of cash. Student fees will increase 10% in the next year, largely in order fund these insane pay raises. As much as I do have a personal stake in this, the people that really matter, and the reason the CSU system is truly here for (that’s the students), are really the ones who should be outraged.

I’m not an anti-Semite, but I do not at all understand why the neocons are so pro-Isreal. Actually I do understand, and it’s scary as hell, but that’s a story for a different day and has a lot to do with the neocon-Zionist connection. And no, being anti-Zionist is not being anti-Jewish.
Anyway, I digress. For anyone in the United States to support a pre-emptive unprovoked strike on any country after our major fuck-up in Iraq is both embarrassing and irresponsible. It just makes us look like worse assholes than we already do.
Today CREW, the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, released their third annual report on Congressional corruption featuring the 22 most corrupt members of Congress (and 2 to watch).
We all know that political corruption has run rampant under the Bush administration. This report details the specific whos and whys of what is going on. And don’t think this is a partisan report. There are Democrats in there too (as there should be).
So check it out. We, the Citizens of America, are the only power that can turn this corruption around. By having this information, you can do your part to clean up this town country.

Are you stuck in the rat race? Do you dread getting out of bed in the morning to go to your mundane nine to five job? Are you sick of dumb co-workers and an even dumber boss?
If you answered “YES!” to any of those questions, vending may be the right choice for you to declare your independence from the nine to five life, and to be your own boss finally. Since their establishment in 1990, they have helped almost 9,000 people establish their own vending business and exit the rat race.
Bulk vending is a great business opportunity. Not only does it work for you while you’re sleeping, eating, doing your other boring job, or vacationing, but it’s also a 100% cash business. That means you get cash in your pocket every time you restock a machine.
Vendstar has recently introduced the The Vendstar EZ-Count® Meter, which allows you to keep track of your exact vending numbers by digitally updating the total quarters accepted. They have also released a 1” wheel that will allow the Vendstar 3000 machine to dispense one inch gumballs and toy capsules.
The opportunities and innovations that multivend offers will allow you to be successful in vending, and to finally be your own boss.
