But it’s for real. It’s on the White House website in semi-readable legal mumbo-jumbo, and it lets you know how it is.
George W. Bush is not fucking around. I have a strong feeling that this is just one more nail in the coffin of the 2008 elections, and the 2009 turnover of the White House. If Mr. Bush can put this sort of thing into effect this easily with no repurcussions or questioning by the American People, just imagine what else he can do. I feel pretty confident that unless something is done, that Mr. Bush will be president for a long time to come. Yeah, it’s scary as shit. So call your representatives and get them on this.

It has been reported by an unnamed Washington, DC insider that Dick Cheney’s number is on the DC Madam’s client list, and that while he was CEO of Halliburton he was a frequent flyer. Of course, this is going to be either ignored by the mainstream media or spun out of control by the White House.
I can’t imagine that even Congressional Democrats will use this in their fight for impeachment, or in their fight to de-fund the Vice President’s office. If they were to put this information out there, imagine the backlash they would create. I can assure you that as soon as one of their names were on the list, their neocon rivals will use everything they have to completely discredit the Democratic Congress.
It’s almost like a nuclear standoff. I’m sure that both sides have plenty of ammunition, but both sides are terrified to launch the first attack for fear of ten-fold retaliation. This is just ugly, and is yet one more reason that we need to clean house and start with a fresh batch of non-career politicians.

In typical mainstream media fashion, before last night’s interview with Michael Moore CNN aired a brief piece questioning Michael Moore’s facts presented in his new film, Sicko. It’s as if they are picadores at a bullfight, just stabbing the bull enough to piss it off.
Fortunately Mr. Moore didn’t cave to CNN’s slam piece, and instead laid out his indictment of all mainstream media including CNN and Wolf Blitzer specifically. And despite Wolf’s attempts to get back on the subject that he thought they should be talking about (that being CNN’s questioning of the facts in Sicko), Michael continued his diatribe.
Even though Wolf didn’t reply to any of Michael’s allegations, everything that Michael said was true. If people like Wolf Blitzer had asked the hard questions in the beginning of the Iraq war instead of simply echoing neocon talking points, we wouldn’t still be there today. If the mainstream media had educated the American People like it is supposed to, and had not sold us lies about impending danger from Saddam Hussein and weapons of mass destruction, we wouldn’t be in this war. Hell, if we had been told the truth maybe George W. Bush wouldn’t have stolen the election for a second term… I mean wouldn’t have been elected again.
The fact that we still entrust the mainstream media to bring us our news is very sad to me. There comes a point where you get out of a negative relationship like that, but despite all of that the American People aren’t ready to leave. I know that the American People are intelligent. It’s not that they aren’t, or that they like the abuse. The problem is that the mainstream media is damn good at what they do. They know exactly how to sell us their lies on a subconscious level, which is exactly how they keep us coming back. It’s sad, but so true.
