CRM software for your business

If you use leads to bring business into your company, it is essential that you keep track of them and manage them properly. You pay enough for them, so functional crm software is essential to making the most of your investment.

AIMPromote is a CRM package that helps increase your sales and improve your business intelligence. This allows you to make the most of your leads and make the most money possible with these resources.

Not only is AIMPromote a highly effective piece of software, it is also superior in several other ways. First of all, there are no setup fees, which helps keep more of that money you’re making in your pocket instead of someone else’s. Besides a competitive cost of implementation, the total cost of ownership is much lower in comparison to other CRM software packages.

But here’s the best part. If you’re not sold yet, you can try a 14 day free trial and see if AIMPromote is the right fit for your company. So give it a gander, I don’t think you can really lose on this one.

Flag etiquette - one woman’s mission

A friend at work just emailed this to the staff at my place of employment. Although many of you might say I’m not a patriot because of my incessant criticism of our country’s leadership, I am posting this to prove you wrong. I am the most classic kind of patriot, and respect what our forefathers stood for, which is exactly the opposite of what those currently in power stand for. Respecting our heritage and the flag that stands for it is an easy way to support our troops, and to remind us what this country is really about.

[Names] and [locations] have been removed to preserve anonymity for the writer and for myself.

I’m on a mission . . . an email campaign. You don’t have to make any wishes or send this email to 3 other people within the next hour . . . just give me a moment of your time and if you agree with me then, please
forward it to others.

I work in the Journalism Department at [Major University]. I not only work in the Journalism but I actually work for the campus newspaper, the [Campus Newspaper]. I’ve been here forever and I am constantly telling the journalism students who work for the newspaper to voice their opinions . . . make a difference . . . take a stand . . . be passsionate . . . well today I’m going to put my money where my mouth is.

Bear with me I don’t write often and I realize this is a little wordy . . . I should probably have someone edit it.

OK . . . back to my mission . . . it started this past weekend . . . I was shopping at Ralphs here in [Major US City] . . . it was dusk and as I walked out of the store, I noticed 2 young women taking down our flag. They were talking and not paying much attention to
what they were doing when suddenly the manager came running out yelling at the women not to let the flag touch the ground.

Another customer went over to the girls, introduced himself as retired military personnel, and took his time to teach the girls the proper way to honor our flag.

I was busy . . . groceries to take home and put away . . . but it nagged at me all weekend.

Maybe because Memorial Day is coming up . . . memories of standing at attention in the cementary as a girl scout honoring those men and women who have given their lives for our country.

Being taught that our flag stands for the ultimate sacrifice they have given and when honoring our flag we honor them.

For the next couple of days I looked around and noticed that there really aren’t a lot of businesses that display the American flag . . . Ralphs Center, Vons Center, [Area Apartment Building] and of course the [Major University] campus.

So you can imagine my dismay as I’m on my way to work today, getting ready to pull into the parking lot and right in front of the Facilities Management offices is the flagpole . . . with our American flag hanging there limply touching the ground.

I was so upset . . . maybe I sound like a loon to you . . . it’s just a piece of cloth you say.

I beg to differ . . . it’s a testament to our freedoms . . . it’s a way of honoring our military and their families for that ultimate sacrifice.

I’m not on patriotic overload . . . I don’t care if you don’t display our flag in front of your business, on your lawn, hanging from a
flagpole anywhere . . . but if you do . . . it should be respected and honored.

I talked to the manager of the Ralphs store where she told me it’s hard to get some people to understand the reverence the flag should be afforded. One girl when assigned the duty of taking down the flag actually draped it around her neck as she walked back into the store?

I talked to Sergeant [Police Woman] here at [Major University] this morning about the flag touching the ground and reminded her that it now needs to be burned.

Today as I sit here I think of the sons and daughters fighting and dying in Iraq for the priviledges we so take for granted and I ask, is it such a big deal to honor our flag?

Shouldn’t we take the time to learn what our flag means and how to take care of it.

The community we live in a large community with girl scout troops, boy scout troops, firemen, policemen and military bases all around us . . . I think probably some organization would be more than happy to teach businesses the proper care and handling of our flag.

If you can’t take the time for the training or don’t have the staff to do the job then maybe you shouldn’t really be displaying our flag.

ABC News reports Bush authorized covert CIA action against Iran

Last night, Brian Ross of ABC News reported that President Bush has authorized covert CIA action against Iran. Many would argue that “covert” action, when reported in a prime time news report, isn’t really covert action anymore, and that this news report is a threat to national security. I am actually going to go out on a limb with a different theory.

My theory is that this newscast is, ironically, a part of the campaign against the People of Iran, as well as part of the ongoing psychological campaign against the People of America. Now I understand that not many people (if any) in Iran have access to ABC News. But they will hear about this covert action one way or another. This will set them on a course of distrust in their government, lack of faith in their financial system, and widespread general paranoia. Just based upon the reported non-military covert action against all of those things.

This furthers the ongoing psychological attack against the American People because despite its revealing nature, there are hidden messages within this broadcast. As much as it sounds like ABC News is exposing the Bush Administration’s wrongdoing, the subliminal message is that the Bush Administration has determined that a standard military conflict with Iran is too unsafe. This is meant to put our concerns about yet another military conflict at ease, and to make us think that the allegedly dangerous Iran situation is being resolved in the best possible way. Obviously neither of these is the case.

But that’s what the mainstream media sells, folks. They sell spin, fear, and disinformation, and do it disturbingly well. Just be smart about the media you consume, and don’t take it at face value, ever.

If you conduct any business at all on the Internet, or even if you just advertise your business online, search engine optimization (SEO) is essential to your success. Looking for a credit card?

If you’re looking for a new credit card, there are a number of great ways to go about getting one. The first is to wait patiently by the mailbox for some credit card company to send you one of those pre-screened offers. If you have good credit (and sometimes even if you don’t), you will periodically receive these offers. Some are good, some are bad, but you really need to read teh fine print to make sure you don’t get ripped off.

Another way to get a credit card is to go to your bank and beg them for a credit card. This can be good or bad. Maybe they’ll give you a better deal since you’re already a customer, but who knows. Again, you really need to investigate and make sure the APR is reasonable, and that you’re not going to pay through the nose.

The third way is to check out GoldStarCredit.net, a site that specializes in business credit cards, student credit cards, whether your credit is good or bad. They also have a mortgage section, as well as information on student loans. They even have a section on credit repair, and can help you get your credit back in shape.

Good luck, and remember to be smart about your credit!

The CIA: State sponsored terrorists

I have been saying it for a while now, but I just came across a great article about how the CIA really is a terrorist organization even by the United States’ standards. Knowing this, how hard is it to believe that the CIA killed Kennedy (Kennedys?), or John Lennon, or 3,000 New Yorkers? The way my mind works, it’s not too damn hard to believe any of it.

Human lives are nothing to these people. They are so stuck on their goals that human lives are merely obstacles in the way, or tools to be used in persuing their plans.

Check out the article and see what you think. Unline myself, the article actually addresses factual events that were perpetrated by the CIA, so don’t let my freaky deaky conspiracy theories turn you off to the article. ;)

Monkey head part 1

So I finally took the initiative and started working on the head for my $20 Halloween prop. I was pretty intimidated by the thought of trying to make a one dollar plastic skull into a monkey head, but it actually worked pretty well. I started out trying to use modeling clay, but it was extremely heavy and wasn’t shaping up the way I wanted. It turns out that a little bit of newspaper and masking tape works great to build up a monkey jaw. Amazing, no? Oh, and cardboard makes pretty good monkey ears. I’m going to give it a few coats of paint tonight, then will add some monkey fur to the parts that are supposed to be furry after that dries. Anyway, enough jibba jabba, here’s a picture:

Reverend Falwell has fallen.

Today, May 15, 2007, famed ignorant conservative Christian dictator of Christianity has passed away at the tender age of 73. That’s right friends, Jerry Falwell kicked the bucket. Or kicked the chalice (that’s a little bit of religious imagery for you paying attention). Since we shouln’t speak ill of the dead, I’ll keep my comments brief.

What will happen to homosexuals, children born out of wedlock, women who have children out of wedlock, people who support a woman’s right to choose (let alone those who actually have abortions), stem cell researchers and supporters, feminists, liberals, and Larry Flynt possibly do without Jerry Falwell in the world to criticize and demonize their every move? To tell you the truth, I don’t know. Maybe they will be able to spend more time fighting for their causes than fighting off the Moral Majority.

So rest in peace Reverend Falwell. You will be missed, but not by many.

Quality dental care in Alexandria

This is a sponsored post brought to you by Blogitive.com and Hayfield Dental Care.

Since opening their doors in 1987, Hayfield Dental Care has treated over 23,000 satisfied patients. Hayfield’s staff of talented dentists have all received advanced or specialty training in their field. That means they can perform almost any procedure without the need for a referral to another office, so you can get all of your work done nder one roof. That sounds much better to me than being referred to some other dentist or oral surgeon that you have never met, and are not nearly as comfortable with as your normal dentist.

Besides being highly trained, Hayfield’s dentists have full access to the latest and most advanced materials and equipment available, meaning that your experience and care there are that much more pleasant and effective. That means that all of your general, family and cosmetic dentistry can be performed under one roof by a talented group of highly trained dentists with the best tools available. Can you really beat that? I think not. It even makes me wish I lived closer so that I could stop by and give them a try.

So if you live in the Alexandria area, or if you’re going to be visiting and need some dental work, then stop by Hayfield and give them a try. I have no doubt that they will deliver everything they promise and more.
