In case you’re living under a rock, Dennis Kucinich has introduced a House Resolution today outlining his Articles of Impeachment of Vice President Dick Cheney. This is an exemplary display of bravery and patriotism not seen in Congress for many years. Support Dennis Kucinich by contacting your representative and asking them to familiarize themselves with H Res 333 and support it when it comes time.
Oh, you don’t know who your representative is? Great! I have created a campaign on RallyCongress.com that will automatically identify your representative by ZIP code. The letter is even written, all you need to do is click the link and put in your info.
Save your country! Be a true patriot! Do it NOW!

If you haven’t yet read this article from The Guardian called Fascist America in ten easy steps, then you really should. Let me share with you one paragraph from it in which writer Naomi Wolf captures the essence of the whole article:
“It is my argument that, beneath our very noses, George Bush and his administration are using time-tested tactics to close down an open society. It is time for us to be willing to think the unthinkable - as the author and political journalist Joe Conason, has put it, that it can happen here. And that we are further along than we realise.”
I completely agree with Wolf, and after reading her article, I realize that we are indeed way more screwed than anyone wants to believe. The ten easy steps (yes, they are EASY steps if you are in the right position of power) are listed in the article and backed up by concrete historical evidence as truly effective ways to achieve fascism. The Bush regime has taken, or is in the process of taking, every step in the article.
Friends, we are further along than any of us imagined. Our government is lying to us, and 98% of us either aren’t informed or worse aree informed and don’t give a shit. 2% are informed and do give a shit, but 50% of that 2% has been led to believe that they can’t make a difference. Hell, our votes haven’t actually been counted in six years or more, so how the fuck can we change anything right?
To answer your question, and to quote Neil of Nine Inch Nails Year Zero fame, “STAND UP AND GIVE A SHIT!” You can still make a differnce. I promise you can. Spread the word, and don’t get sucked into the bullshit that we’re fed every day. As frustrating as it is right now, wouldn’t you hate to be the person a few years down the road saying “I knew this was coming, and didn’t do a goddamned thing about it.” Now that, my friends, would truly suck.

This is a sponsored post from Blogitive.com and Forms4Free.com.
Are you a webmaster? Do you need a simple email form or contact form for your website, but don’t want to fight the complex battle of the form tag? Forms4Free.com was founded in late 2005, and has been helping webmasters create simple web forms for their sites for free ever since.
Last year, Forms4Free.com added to their offerings, and now also provide the formmail file to go with your HTML form for $19.95. A formmail file processes the form submission behind the scenes after the form is submitted, and can offer more flexibility with your form submissions. Speaking as a webmaster myself, $19.95 is a great deal, besides which Forms4Free.com is probably the only service of its kind right now.
The best part about allowing you to have your own formmail file is that you circumvent third parties and their advertisements, and can customize the form submission to the needs of your site. In addition, if you need further assistance, Forms4Free.com will work with you to correct any errors, and to help make your form work exactly the way you want it to.

Yesterday I was having a conversation about politics with a good friend of mine, and I realized why exactly I am so pissed about what’s going on right now. At the same time though, I am thankful that I know what I know and that I have a new understanding of the truth behind the bad things that have been going on behind the scenes for years.
The reason that I’m so pissed at the shit that the Bush administration is pulling is that six years ago, I never would have believed, let alone considered, that the United States Government would have violently attacked, killed their own citizens and used the event to traumatize the survivors into submission. Six years ago, I never would have considered that yeah, maybe the CIA was behind John Lennon’s assassination, or hell, even behind Kennedy’s. It wouldn’t have even crossed my mind.
But because of the behind the scenes deals between the main stream media and the current neocon regime of which I am now fully aware, I have no doubt that any of those scenarios could be true. And that is exactly what pisses me off.

Yesterday, my wonderful wife was having a conversation about what makes a hero with her 4th grade students. She was bringing up different famous and historical people and asking them if they were a hero and why. I am pleased to report that her 4th grade students responded to the following folks in the following ways:
Arnold Schwarzenegger: Not a hero because he steals money from schools.
George W. Bush: Not a hero because he went to war for oil.
Apparently some 4th graders have been reading my blog…haha. Or their parents are really giving them a good bit of truth at home. I am just glad that the brainwashing that goes on in the mainstream media has not yet made its way into the minds of at least my wife’s 4th graders. Amazing, and admirable. Good work, kids!

If you’re a homeowner, you know what a difference quality Landscape Design can make in the overall look and curb appeal of your home. But what really is quality landscaping?
Quality landscaping is more than just outdoor beauty. It is a combination of usability and beauty, masterfully mixed into a pleasant overall outdoor experience based on your imagination and vision. Hence, the right landscape design for you is very subjective, and is based upon what you like to do and what you enjoy visually.
SLDA takes all of these issues into account when designing your custom landscaping. SLDA uses their original Three SteppingStone Process to create your landscape. During the process, you will be asked a number of questions that will help direct their landscaping, many of which you may never have thought of on your own, and many whose answers may surprise you.
SLDA makes the most of modern technology, using CAD to create a virtual image of your finished product, and allowing you to log into their website to view weekly progress reports and notes. In a nutshell, they sould like my kind of company.
So if you are a homeowner, and are tired of the same boring old grass outside (or lack thereof), get in touch with SLDA and have them help you create the perfect outdoor setting customized exactly to your needs and personality.

In an article at DailyTimes.com, it is reported that a poll has revealed that only 3% of Pakistanis actually believe that Al Quaeda was behind 9/11. In addition, a majority of people in Muslim countries believe that the ultimate goal of US foreign policy is to undermine Islam.
If these things are not true - if Al Quaeda really was behind 9/11, or is the powers that be in the US really don’t hate Islam - why aren’t they doing more to prove it? There are so many ways that our administration could prove its true motives, but the constant secrecy and withholding of even the most mundane information is detrimental at best.

Interestingly enough, after my blog entry last night praising Karen Kwiatkowski, a good friend forwarded me an LA Times article on yet another hero working from the inside to undo the evils that have been done in the past six years.
Today, the LA Times has reported that the Office of Special Counsel, headed by Scott J. Bloch, is launching an investigation into the questionable attorney firings and other shady activities led by Karl Rove. Normally the OSC takes care of smaller issues with lower level government employees, but since no one else is doing anything about it, Bloch is targeting Rove and Co.
Unfortunately it seems that this is the only way that the Bush administration will be thwarted. The widespread apathy of the American People is clearly not going to make a difference, so I am very glad that someone on the insode finally going after these war criminal aspiring dictators.
As is pointed out in the article, this investigation comes from inside the administration, as Bloch is a presidentially appointed member. This is not an investigation that can be blamed on partisan politics since it comes from the inside, and not from the Democrats in Congress.
There are obviously no promises as to the outcome, but I am glad that someone is standing up and trying to make a difference.

We have all seen them. TV infomercials promoting the next best thing. We have all made fun of Ron Popeil at one point or another. But man do we love the Ronco Food Dehydrator. Anyway, my point is that there are a lot of “As Seen On TV” products out there with cheesy late night infomercials behind them, but many of them are actually great products.
Take, for example, Dr Franks Pain Relief, a muscle and pain relief product made from ten natural active ingredients supported by homeopathic research. All you do is spray it in your mouth and your pain will be gone. Sounds good to me.
So if you need the best solution to your problem, check out tvproducts4less.com and you may very well find exactly the thing you need.
