Can Florida possibly become any weirder? WTF is going on down there?!?!

OK, today I have read two of the oddest and most outraging stories that I have read in recent memory. Interestingly enough, both take place in Florida.

The first story I read was about a 21 year old woman who was raped at a public event. While she was being taken to the scene of the crime by police, the officer driving was informed by the dispatcher that there was an outstanding warrant out for the victim. Because of the outstanding warrant, the officer decided to arrest the woman. Good idea dumbshit, since she hadn’t had a bad enough day already.

As if that weren’t enough, the nurse at the jail where this poor woman spent two days didn’t allow her to take her second emergency contraception pill because of religious beliefs. Nice work, Florida correctional system. Dumbfucks.

The second story I read was about a woman who went into the hospital to give birth to a child, somehow contracted streptococcus during or after labor, and went home 12 days later with no arms or legs. As if that weren’t fucked up enough, the hospital won’t even tell this poor woman why they had to amputate.

Keep it up, Florida. You’re doing great so far.

Make money online creating and flipping free content!

As a webmaster/blogger/Internet addict/business guy, I am constantly looking for ways to monetize my life through my multiple websites. The thing is, it’s easy to find people who will sell you their secret for $147 (but it’s on sale for you only today only for the low low price of $97! Act now!), but very hard to find people willing to share their ideas for free.

Turns out that you can Receive a Free Copy of "Flip Content for Profit!" if you click that link and download it now. It’s a free report all about taking already existing content and making money from it, and include sections about marketing your products for free, and also creating your own content that you can sell too.

For free, this is an amazing deal. I have paid good money for similar products with many fewer usable ideas than are in this free report. Even if you’re not an Internet marketer yet, you’ve got to admit that the allure of making money online is pretty attractive. Go sign up for the site, download the report, and get started already!

Nancy Pelosi, you impress me.

As concerned as I was for the Democrats with Nancy Pelosi at the helm, I am feeling better about it with every minute that passes. Read on:

If anything that UnionLeader.com publishes can be believed, Nancy Pelosi has made public her belief that al Quaeda is not in Iraq at all. Of course, UnionLeader.com asserts that al Quaeda is indeed in Iraq, and is planning on using it as their next jihad home base.

Of course, UnionLeader.com goes on to back up their assertion with the “fact” that Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi was killed in an air strike by US forces just before he was able to execute a “planned attack on the United States.”

Now I would hate to imply that this whole Iraq fiasco is a sham, but it is. The al Quaeda legend is just as much of a sham. There is NO al Quaeda, and NO global terrorist group bent on a worldwide jihad. Period.

Yes, there are scary people out there. There are bad people out there who do bad things. But al Quaeda does not exist in the form that we have been told that it does. It is absolutely not a highly trained, high tech, super organized global group of Muslim extremists. At best, “al Quaeda” is the generic term for small ragtag groups of people who may or may not be Muslim who just want to start some shit and can barely get their hands on a semiautomatic rifle without the help of the United States.

And they sure as fuck didn’t blow up the World Trade Center…oh whoops, did I say “blow up”? I meant “fly nonexistant planes into.” Whoops again, I mean to say “attack the people of the United States on their own soil, in essence causing a new Pearl Harbor.” Oh, did I say “a new Pearl Harbor,” PNAC? Whoops again, I just keep misspeaking this morning. Silly me.

But yes Ms. Pelosi. You are doing a great job so far, and I want to offer you my sincere thanks for what you have done, adn what you will do in the future.

Looking for real estate in Bulgaria?

If you’re in the market for some new real estate, you might want to check out some Sofia property in Bulgaria. That’s if you’re planning on living or vacationing in Bulgaria, that is.

Sofia is the capital city of Bulgaria, and real estate is rising reasonably. Sofia features a number of points of interest including the Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the St. Nedelya Church, the St. George Rotunda, the Banya Bashi Mosque, the Central Sofia Synagogue and the Women’s market. Sofia also features a great amount of shopping and an exciting nightlife.

Sound to me like a cool place to own a vacation home in. What about you?

Senator Hagel, you my dogg!

Well well, Senator Hagel (R-NE) is batting a thousand today. He actually outted the White House in a major way, and told GQ in an interview that the original Iraq Resolution sent to Congress in 2002 included not only authorization to go into Iraq, but gave the President the right to go after everyone in the “whole region.”

In case you’re not quite sure why this is so huge, it just proves that President Bush and his neocon freaks had and still have every intention of keeping the Middle East in the mess it is in right now for their own personal and ideological benefit. This means that we have not only been lied to by those in power, but our tax money has been used for the benefit of a small group of elite, and our brothers, sisters, friends, family, and neighbors have been killed in the name of a selfish war that has nothing to do with the interests of the American People.

Hold on now…a rational Republican?

Wow, I am truly amazed. I must salute Senator Hagel (R-NE) for his admirable speech yesterday. He actually acknowledged that politics is not a “safe” job, and that their decisions should not be based upon being re-elected or catering to party lines. This is simply amazing.

It’s really too bad that this guy hadn’t spoken up earlier, but it’s better late than never, right? While no one can guarantee that anyone else will actually listen to what he said, and vote according to what they think is right in their hearts remains to be seen. But I do Salute Senator Hagel for being so outspoken, and calling out Congress on this issue.
