On Wednesday, June 21, I attended a free screening of Loose Change Second Edition at the Art Theatre in Long Beach, CA. I was previously familiar with the film, and have watched it online a number of times, but was excited for the opportunity to see the movie on the big screen, and to participate in a Q&A session with the filmmakers afterward.

I’ll give away the end, and state that I was highly satisfied with the experience overall. My wife and I arrived early to a group of about twelve people hanging out outside the theatre, waiting for the screening of “A Prairie Home Companion” to let out. I had printed up some flyers to promote 8thestate.com, and took advantage of the opportunity to walk around and chat with like-minded people about other aspects of 9/11. I am very glad to report that everyone was very friendly, and willing to talk. Some had even visited 8th Estate, and were quite interested in hearing about Richard Grove.

Despite some technical difficulties with the audio in the theatre and the LCD projector that the guys were using to show the film, the screening went off without a hitch. When the movie started there were between 50 and 75 people in the theatre. Throughout the film everyone was respectful and quiet (unlike most movie audiences these days), although many of the best moments came when new viewers saw evidence that was new to them, and seemingly the whole theatre let out an audible gasp.

This was the first time that my wife had seen the film, and she was floored and disturbed, much the same reaction as I had the first time I saw it. She has heard me rambling about this and that, controlled demolition, inside psy-op jobs, and how evil this administration REALLY is for a few months now, but never realized the extent of evidence that the “official story” is not true at all. For that matter, she had never heard about Building 7 falling either. Oh, you haven’t either? Ah. Sounds like you have some research to do.

Unfortunately we were not able to hold the Q&A session inside the theatre due to the next movie and the time lost because of the technical difficulties. However, everyone went outside the theatre and had the seesion right in front, which probably worked out much better from a PR standpoint. Drivers and pedestrians passing by the theatre during that time saw about fifty people standing on the sidewalk with movie cameras and a boom mic, which attracted plenty of attention. In fact, the next day a friend of mine at work called and asked what was going on at the theatre the night before since she saaw me standing outside in the commotion.

The opportunity to participate in this screening and Q&A session was quite a privilege, and I want to publicly thank the Long Beach Art Theatre owners and staff for allowing this screening to happen. It was invigorating to see how many people are interested in finding out the truth, and also to see how many people are already quite educated about what is really going on behind the scenes. All in all, it was a great night spent with great people.

Maybe some of you are curious as to who Mr. Richard Andrew Grove is. Maybe some of you have taken the initiative to Google him and find out. And maybe some of you have even stumbled upon and listened to his groundbreaking Project Constellation transmission on Meria Heller’s show from June 4th, 2006.

So far, not much information has been released as to who exactly Mr. Grove is, and what he’s all about. Fortunately for you curious folks, Richard has launched his own website, complete with PDFs, Word docs, audio, and video clips backing up all of his claims from the Project Constellation Transmission.

If you are curious at all as to what was going on behind the scenes of 9/11- who profited, who knew, and much more- you owe it to yourself to find your way to 8th Estate Public Media and Research, Richard’s official website.

Yesterday, June 6, 2006, the Muckraker Report announced that the FBI has admitted having “no hard evidence connecting bin Laden to 9/11.” Of course, this is nothing new to many people, but I don’t think it has actually been admitted to by the FBI officially before.

It turns out that on the FBI’s “Most Wanted Terrosists” web page, they state:

“Usama Bin Laden is wanted in connection with the August 7, 1998, bombings of the United States Embassies in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and Nairobi, Kenya. These attacks killed over 200 people. In addition, Bin Laden is a suspect in other terrorist attacks throughout the world.”

You might notice that nowhere there does it connect bin Laden to 9/11, the London tube bombings, or the bombings in Spain. How can this be, you may ask? We KNOW that he was guilty, right? Donnie Rumsfeld told us so, and we sent our troops into the hills of Afghanistan specifically to find Mr. bin Laden and bring him to justice.

I’ll keep this short, but hopefully you realize the insanity of what is going on here, and will take the time to read the article and do a bit of research yourself. I will be very interested in whatever input you have to add, but let’s keep it productive. Thanks.

I am proud to announce the public launch of OfficialDis.info, my new website dedicated to the sharing and discussion of progressive political news and Internet links. This has been a work in progress for quite a while, but I am finally ready to unleash it to the public. I figure, what better day that 06/06/06, right?

Basically my goal is for OfficialDis.info to be a politically-oriented version of Digg.com. Besides that, I have included links to other progressive political sites and information. OfficialDis.info is based upon Drupal, the open source CMS that WritingUp, Bloggerparty, and other such web sites are based upon, so if you’re comfortable with WritingUp, you’ll feel right at home.

Any constructive criticism or tips on making the site better would be appreciated. As is the case with all websites, it is a work in progress, and only an get better the more input I receive.

Who Killed John O’Neill is a new movie written and performed by Ryan Thurston, produced and directed by Ty Rauber, and featuring a wonderfully haunting soundtrack by Brett Rauber. No, you haven’t heard of any of them. Not even IMDB has heard of them yet. The only reason I mention their names is to applaud their courage in presenting the information that they present in the movie.

I suppose that you are wondering who John O’Neill is, who would want him dead, and why. John O’Neill was an FBI anti-terrorism agent who had been on Osama bin Laden and al Quaeda’s trail for quite some time. Special Agent O’Neill died in the World Trade Center (WTC) collapse on September 11, 2001, almost as if Osama himself were targeting Mr. O’Neill specifically. Ironically, he had recently left the FBI and taken a job as head of security for the WTC. As for who would want him dead and why, the movie does a much better job of connecting the dots than I can in this short blog entry.

While tracing the trail of blood from the proverbial knife in John O’Neill’s back to his killers, six different characters expose a number of disturbing connections regarding September 11. All six charcters are portrayed by Ryan Thurston, and represent different sides of the story in the argument over what really happened on 9/11. The six characters include “man,” the main character, “paranoid,” the paranoid, over-reactive conspiracy nut quick to jump to conclusions, “cynic,” the cynical disbeliever who forces the other characters to justify their conclusions, “laptop,” the computer nerd who verifies data, “philosopher,” who jumps in as the devil’s advocate, and “history,” who backs the conclusions with historical facts.

Although the main focus of this film is 9/11, the six characters effectively unravel the tangled web of scandalous events going on in our government from the JFK assassination to the Oklahoma City bombing to the USS Cole and the first WTC attack. Even though the act of mentioning this whole line of events in the same sentence often screams “conspiracy nut,” once you watch the movie and understand how the puzzle pieces fit together, you will give it a second thought.
